Matthew Matt James, born 5 December 1991 in North Carolina. Parents are Manny James and Patty James. The father of Manny James is Nigerian as is his mother caucasian-American. James graduated in 2010 of Sanderson High School. In 2015, he earned an undergraduate degree in Economics at Wake Forest University. James first became famous for his role as The Bachelorette's reality star. In 2020, he was chosen as the bachelor in season 25 becoming the initial African American male lead which was later aired in 2021. James has the right look for his role. He is tall and handsome, with an innate sense of humor. The show was over when he decided to choose Rachael Krkconnell to pursue an affair with the actress. He teamed up with famous dancer Arnold to take part in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold finished 12th.
